Car Wraps
We asked for your ideas on how to promote the new movie Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers, and you came through in spades. Some fans even offered to let us wrap their own personal vehicles with a Rangers promotional shell. And we took 'em up on it.

Please enjoy pictures of all the winners and their newly B5 decorated vehiles, as they parade around their respective cities promoting the SCI FI Original movie.

In the meantime, here's no less than SCI FI Channel President Bonnie Hammer herself, who had her own car wrapped as well:

Q: Why did you do it?

A: We've always known that sci-fi fans are the most dedicated and passionate group out there. The overwhelming response we got to our request for volunteers — over a thousand people offered their cars! — is a perfect example of that. I'm a sci-fi fan, too, and I wanted to do my part and show my support. And, it's just fun! Now my kid doesn't want me to unwrap it. He loves it!

Q: Tell us about the experience of having your car wrapped.

A: It was great. I left my house in a normal, white sedan, and returned in a spaceship with the entire Legend of the Rangers cast along for the ride! And I was greeted with a parade of honks and stares when I left Manhattan for the 'burbs.

Q: What do you plan on doing with your car to help spread the word?

A: This is the car I use all the time. I take my son to school in it, I run errands with it and drive it to the train station every morning for my commute. I always make sure to get the prime parking space so it's most visible to train passengers stopping at the station.

Q: What kind of response have you been getting?

A: Well, I live in a very small town, so I've been getting a lot of strange looks — long stares and a lot of honking cars. I'm not sure my town is ready for me ... but clearly, I'm trying to convert them to the SCI FI way of life!
