What can Battlestar Galactica and science fiction teach us about our world today? Literature is ripe with examples of war as a backdrop to examine and learn about ourselves. In the same vein, science-fiction literature and films also provide a unique opportunity for us to explore society, provoke debate and examine our own strengths and flaws all within the realm of another world and another time. The Battlestar Galactica curriculum materials guide you and your students through this exploration, all within the context of a fictional war.
