JENNY WEAVER
JENNY WEAVER (Nahm) was born and raised in Houston, Texas. (Yee-Haw!) She
attended Northwestern University, where she received acting, movement,
and
vocal training. Upon graduating with a B.S. in Theater, Jenny moved to
New York as part of the 1999 NYC Fringe Festival to perform in
Funhouse, an original ensemble piece. Since then, she has
performed in Girls School Vampire (Todo Con Nada), The
Crucifixion (Blue Heron Arts Center), 4 Hours (Independent
Short
Film), and, most recently, Schmoozy Togetherness (Manhattan
Theater
Source). She is incredibly greatful for her friends, with whom she
continues to collaborate most recently in the development of Shanley
Pavillion, a company created to foster the growth and development of
new
artists. Using an interactive workshop setting, the company provides
feedback for projects in their initial stages and production support
for
projects in motion. To pay rent, Jenny waits tables at the Yaffa Cafe,
which is how she came to meet Voltaire and became involved in the
Chi-Chian project.
