RICHARD KUSLAN
RICHARD KUSLAN (Hanuman and Chi-Chian's Father) brings a lifetime of experience in Asia to the roles he voiced in this series. With a unique combination of red-hair and fluent mandarin Chinese, he became the first non-Chinese to capture First Prize by singing Chinese pop music to an audience of 30 million adoring fans on Shanghai Television's popular Five-Star Talent Show. Thereafter, Mr. Kuslan often guest-starred on prime-time Shanghai Television and Fuji TV (Tokyo), as well as headlining cabaret acts in China, Japan and Taiwan.
Now a resident of the New York area, his voice may be heard (in various
accents) on commercial spots for radio and the Internet. He will sing the
lead role of Manuel in the world premiere of the musical Fatima at the
Mertens Theater in late 2000. Mr. Kuslan is the author of The Master
Instructs, or, How to Wake Up on Time, an irreverent and entertaining
self-help book for GenX-ers who just can't wake up in the morning, recently
published by Pellucid Press.
