(Voiced by Bai Ling) Daughter of a brilliant, peace-loving scientist, Chi-Chian is a
young Japanese girl living in Manhattan in the year 3000. Despite her sexy
exterior this coy Betty Boop-like gal is really rather innocent. While the
world around her is full of ruthless, corrupt humans, Chi-Chian just can't
understand why everyone must be so mean. Her battle cry has always been,
"Why can't people just be nice?" That's not to say she's a pushover,
though. If her friends are in danger, she will find it within herself to
spring into action. Luckily, she has the protection of a sentient suit of
armor that reacts to her thoughts. This suit, called Biologic, is
composed of millions of black, microscopic squiggles that are
"neuronetically" linked to her mind. They take the shape of whatever she
dreams up. When she's relaxed, they cover very little of her body.
However, when in trouble, the Biologic suit can transform into a massive
and ominous exoskeleton (usually resembling an intimidating bipedal dog)
to protect her. In short, she's cute and sweet, but you really don't want
to mess with her!
(Voiced by George DiCenzo) This guy is as mean as he is ugly! As leader of the Patahn
Pahrr (once a peaceful religious order) he cared for the spiritual well-being of humanity. However, somewhere along the way, he began secretly
serving his insect masters in the hope of gaining special favor with the
species he predicts will someday rule the world. He's mean, petty and
manipulative, but at his core he is really just a sycophant licking the
boots of power.
(Voiced by Jessica Calvello) Always ready to help Chi-Chian in any way he can is this
delightful doctor. Don't let his appearance fool you. He is the brightest
scientific mind of Chi-Chian's time. Even if he is a small, pink, metallic
teddy bear that floats around the room!
(Voiced by Patrick Lanczki) Standing about 8 feet in height on two legs (even though he
has 6) is this benevolent leader of the Cockroaches. He has seen
unspeakable persecution of his people throughout the ages and yet, because he was
personally raised by Chi-Chian's peace-loving father, he remains a pure
pacifist. Sebastian guards the nest of newly laid eggs, protecting
them from all harm. Deep in the catacombs below Manhattan, he feels he has
finally found a haven where his people can live in safety. He has a soft
spot for Waltzes and often says, "I don't trust anyone who doesn't dance."
(Voiced by Mark Evans) Every girl should have a pet, and X is Chi-Chian's. He is a 13-foot-long, segmented, black worm that she found in her father's abandoned
laboratory. X gets his name from the first letter of his classification,
"X-perimental Worm Train." However, despite his cold, scientific origins,
X has grown to be rather gentle he even speaks in an English accent. He
spends most of his time fawning over Chi-Chian. It's no surprise; everyone
knows that he's madly in love with her.
(Voiced by Richard Kuslan) Taking his name and appearance from Hanuman the Monkey God of
Chinese mythology, this simian elder is the leader of Siam. Despite his
spiritual name he sounds more like a crotchety old Chinaman who has seen
it all. In fact, he has. Hanuman served as a general in World War Three,
the Great War against China, and saw many of his comrades fall around
him. He owes a debt of gratitude to Chi-Chian's father, who created the
Biologic armor for the Thai military. This armor, introduced near the end
of the war as Siam was crumbling, turned the tide in Siam's favor. China
would not have been defeated without it. He welcomes Chi-Chian to Siam
with open arms and would do anything to help her.
(Voiced by Jenny Weaver) Nahm is a young albino girl about Chi-Chian's age. When they first
met, Nahm had spent years inside of her robotic exoskeleton (which looks
something like an anthropomorphized rabbit) for fear of being ridiculed.
Having been born on Titan, separated from the genetically perfected human
gene pool of Earth, Nahm was born with this ancient birth defect and upon
returning to Earth was mercilessly mocked and tormented. Chi-Chian, being
pure of heart, took her in and befriended her. They became the best of
friends. In a past adventure, Nahm lost an arm in a battle with the
Patahn Pahrr but soon found a robotic replacement resembling an
insect-like claw. Years ago that might have seemed like something to be
ashamed of, but her friendship with Chi-Chian has helped her to overcome
her shyness. Now she has become quite the rambunctious, alterna-chick!
