Explorer, adventurer, and photographer Josh Gates hails from the small town of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. A graduate of Boston's renowned Tufts University, Josh holds degrees in archaeology and drama. His work and travels have taken him to more than 70 countries around the world.

An avid SCUBA diver, Josh has participated in sub-sea archaeological excavations in the Mediterranean, and his work as a photographer has taken him from sweltering African villages to the icy heights of the Himalayas. Josh was recently inducted into The Explorers Club, a prestigious organization dedicated to the advancement of exploration and field research.

Recently, Josh scaled "the roof of Africa" on Mt. Kilimanjaro and climbed on Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in the Americas. From the Far East to the Wild West, Josh is passionate about exploring and photographing the unique places he visits and the diverse people he meets along the way.

Josh currently resides in Los Angeles.


Growing up in Grand Rapids, MI, Casey's childhood was spent tending to the family farm. When he was not tending to his chores, Casey was active is multiple sports throughout high school before heading off to college. Graduating from Michigan State University in 1998, he spent several years traveling the US developing marketing campaigns for companies such as Reebok and Gatorade.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2001, Casey naturally gravitated to the entertainment industry and the creative outlet that it provided. An avid traveler and photographer who is always up for an adventure, he has taken this sense of adventure with him on 3 round the world voyages over the last 3 years.

When not traveling Casey can be found in Los Angeles working as a producer/director.


Hailing from Hopewell Jct., a small town in New York, Erin is a graduate of Cortland University, where she received a degree in Communications and earned the title of All American after winning a National Championship in Field Hockey. Ryder also holds a Master's degree in Television, Radio and Film Studies from Syracuse University's Newhouse School.

Following her research around the globe, Ryder has collected over 5 years experience as a producer and researcher in the travel, entertainment, and sports industries. Including working the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece for NBC to more recently working the summer and winter X Games for ESPN. From working in sports to competing in them Ryder loves to stay on the edge of adventure where ever she happens to be.

She currently lives in Hollywood, where she continues her work as a producer and researcher.


Born in Southern California. Jarrod spent 7 years in the US ARMY, three years active duty and another 4 years as an ARMY Medic. Jarrod left the service to become a Paramedic and has been in the Emergency Medical field for a decade. He has worked everywhere from downtown LA to offshore oil rigs as he is trained as a SCUBA rescue and deep sea diver.
