ARTHUR REINHART
Director of Photography
Reinhart hails from a background steeped in the European tradition of filmmaking. The Polish native has served as a cinematographer on numerous feature films, documentaries and TV commercials, and also has worked as a director of commercials.
In 1994, Reinhart was lauded with the prestigious Golden Frog at the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography in Poland for Wrony ("The Crows"), directed by Dorota Kedzierzawska and starring Karolina Ostrozna and Kasia Szczepanik. Past winners of this esteemed award include Vittorio Storaro and Conrad Hall.
Reinhart later garnered a second Golden Frog nomination for his work on the film Nic ("Nothing"), again directed by Dorota Kedzierzawska and starring Anita Kuskowska, Janusz Panasewicz and Danuta Szaflarska. He also was the cinematographer for the feature films Taranthriller; Pora na czarownice, starring Robert Janowski; and Bandyta, starring Til Schweiger and Polly Walker.
Reinhart received the Kodak Award for Best Young Director of Photography at the XVIII Polish Feature Film Festival, and the award for Best Director of Photography at the XXIII Polish Feature Film Festival.
Reinhart was born in Kluczbork, Poland, and studied filmmaking at the National Film School in Lodz, Poland.
