McNeice reprises his role of Baron Harkonnen from the original SCI FI miniseries Frank Herbert's Dune. The British, theater-trained acting veteran has starred in numerous feature films and television programs ranging from Shakespeare to comedy, from Chekhov to murder mystery. Among McNeice's credits are HBO's Conspiracy, with Kenneth Branagh and Stanley Tucci, which won an Emmy Award for Best TV Movie. McNeice also starred in From Hell, directed by the Hughes Brothers; A Life Less Ordinary; The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain; Year of the Comet; Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls; The Russia House; The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne; Valmont; and Funnybones. McNeice's television credits include Around the World in 80 Days; the acclaimed series The Life and Times of Nicholas Nickleby; and Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for A&E Network. McNeice also starred opposite Maggie Smith in David Copperfield. His theater performances include Kean, directed by Sam Mendes at London's Old Vic, and Nicholas Nickelby on Broadway. McNeice, a native of Basingstoke, England, spent four years with the Royal Shakespeare Company and was trained at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
