Rik Young has starred in numerous productions for the stage and big screen. Among his acting credits are Is Harry on the Boat for Sky TV, Thick Twisted & Harry and Mindblowing for HTV, and Fame and Cocaine. He played Mercutio in the Open Air Theatre's staging of Romeo & Juliet. Young also has performed in various productions for the Guildhall School, including Much Ado About Nothing, which he performed at The Globe; 'Tis Pity She's a Whore; The Grapes of Wrath and Uncle Vanya. Young, a native of the New Forest region of England, won a scholarship to study at London's The Academy Drama School. He graduated with honors in acting from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is trained in stage combat, is an avid sportsman, and sings tenor.
