FRANK HERBERT'S CHILDREN OF DUNE WINS EMMY

NEW YORK (Sept. 15, 2003) — The SCI FI original miniseries Frank Herbert's Children of Dune has won this year's Emmy Award for "Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Miniseries, Movie or Special."



FRANK HERBERT'S CHILDREN OF DUNE DVD TO DEBUT IN U.K.

LONDON (Sept. 4, 2003) — The DVD version of Frank Herbert's Children of Dune, the Emmy-nominated miniseries continuation of SCI FI's two-time Emmy Award-winning miniseries Frank Herbert's Dune, is scheduled for release in the United Kingdom on Monday, September 22, 2003.

The box set includes a 13-minute behind-the-scenes special about the making of the critically acclaimed miniseries. The set is expected to retail in the U.K. for approximately £39.99.

FRANK HERBERT'S CHILDREN OF DUNE EPIC MINISERIES


NEW YORK (April 2, 2002) — SCI FI has announced the casting for the next six-hour miniseries based on Frank Herbert's Dune novels, Frank Herbert's Children of Dune. This epic adaptation will once again feature an ensemble cast, including returning players Julie Cox as Princess Irulan, Barbara Kodetova as Chani, Ian McNeice as Baron Harkonnen, P.H. Moriarty as Gurney Halleck and Alec Newman as Paul Atreides.

SCI FI BEGINS PRODUCTION IN APRIL 2002 ON CHILDREN OF DUNE MINISERIES

NEW YORK (Dec. 3, 2001) — SCI FI has greenlit production on a six-hour sequel to its Emmy Award-winning miniseries, Frank Herbert's Dune, entitled Children of Dune. Produced by New Amsterdam Entertainment, the SCI FI project marks the first film or television adaptation of the sequel novels to the original best-selling Dune book.
