Frank Herbert's Dune cinematographer Storaro to be feted at ceremony

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (January 25, 2001) — Renowned cinematographer Vittorio Storaro has been nominated for Outstanding Achievement in the movie/miniseries TV category for his work on Frank Herbert's Dune by the American Society of Cinematographers. Vittorio will be honored with the Life Achievement Award at the society's annual award ceremonies on February 18, 2001.
