For the first few weeks ECW was on SCI FI, a then-unnamed Kevin Thorn was often seen outside of the venue. Thorn, who appears to be a vampire, would spit blood at the camera when spotted, leading Joey Styles to invite him into the building for a closer look.

He did just that, being seen with tarot card-reading vixen Ariel on the July 11, 2006 ECW on SCI FI. After another appearance the next week, it became clear that they were a tandem. And on July 25, Ariel accompanied Thorn to the ring for his ECW debut against Little Guido, a match Thorn won impressively with a modified crucifix powerbomb.

Thorn says that "in the dark, in the light...I am Kevin Thorn and the blood of ECW will be mine." If he can continue to look as impressive as he did during his debut, Thorn's prediction may come true sooner than later.
