MARY JO PEHL ("The Lorekeeper," "Ariadrina") is a former writer and actor for Mystery Science Theater 3000, on which she appeared as the evil Pearl Forrester and other roles, including a bodyless head and a next-door neighbor. Her work has appeared on Ironminds.com, timmybighands.com, Funny Times, and in an anthology entitled Life's A Stitch, to be released in spring of 2002. In addition, her commentaries have been featured on The Savvy Traveler on Public Radio International. Pehl recently made her New York stage debut in Flats Fixed at the Sanford Meisner Theater, and she has received the L.A. Reader Critics Circle Award for Best Comedy Ensemble for the production of Bad Seed.
