PAUL SCHERSTEN ("Primatene," writer, co-creator), working under the name Paul Chaplin, was for many years a writer and performer on Comedy Central's and the SCI FI Channel's Mystery Science Theater 3000. Having preceded that career move with a long and varied history in the public-affairs profession, he is now cultivating a career as a political humorist. His commentaries are beginning to pop up on NPR's All Things Considered.
