She also starred in the TV movies Perry Mason: Case of the Shooting Star, with Raymond Burr, and Janek: Brownstone Murders, with Richard Crenna.
Howard's feature film work includes Norman Jewison's Moonstruck, starring Cher and Nicolas Cage, The War of the Roses, with Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas, and the 1995 and 1996 Bounty Hunter feature films.
Howard grew up in London and Kingston, Ontario, and attended special arts schools, where she focused her studies on music, drama and dance. She then moved to New York and trained at the Actors Studio, after studying in a multidisciplinary performance program at Toronto's George Brown College. Howard made her professional U.S. debut starring as Gigi in Louis Jourdan's New York and national touring company, which performed in 81 American cities.
When not on location, Howard resides with her husband and daughter in Los Angeles.
