Jayne Heitmeyer is Renée Palmer, a cutthroat Resistance fighter who also runs the division at Doors International that specializes in joint ventures with the Taelons, on Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict.
A native of Montreal, Heitmeyer's film and television career was launched after she was cast in the 1992-96 national advertising campaign for Cadbury's "Crispy Crunch." She has a leading role in the Emmy-nominated Sirens and co-starred in the action series NightMan. She has also guest-starred on such hit series as The Outer Limits, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, FX: The Series, The Hunger, Student Bodies and Total Recall 2070. Heitmeyer also can be seen in the A&E/Hallmark Hall of Fame production Barnum, with Beau Bridges.
Heitmeyer has appeared in several feature films, including Brian DePalma's Snake Eyes, starring Nicolas Cage and Gary Sinise, Twist of Faith, with Andrew McCarthy, Out of Control, with Sean Young, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Lost World, with Patrick Bergin. She also appeared in 2000 and None, with John Turturro and Deny Arcand's 15 Moments.
Heitmeyer has a diverse range of interests, including horseback riding, playing the guitar and watching movies. She attended the International School of Geneva and McGill University in Montreal. She currently resides in Toronto.
