3.01 A MESSAGE TO THE RAVEN NATION: REVEAL YOURSELVES TO THE PARANOID TIMES! FIGHT FOR FOSTER!
"We are living on the brink of Armageddon. As aliens in human form mobilize to seize control of the world, the Raven Nation will fight fire with fire." -- Source Unknown
You know who you are. You're out there Raven Nation. And for the first time in "Paranoid Times" history I'm making my editorial an open letter to your group.
You know about the Gua. You know how dire our situation has become. We're catapulting toward the Second Wave and we've lost our greatest ally. You say you will fight fire with fire. That you'll step up to the plate. Well things just got a heck of a lot worse so where are you Raven Nation? What are you?
My name is Eddie Nambulous publisher of "The Paranoid Times." You already know that I'm sure. You've been hitting my site. Checking it regularly. And research would indicate that you do so often. If you were trying to get my attention you succeeded. It doesn't take much with a true paranoid. And the stuff you're talking about ain't as wholesome as apple pie.
I believe you're real, I just don't know what you are. Sure, sure, my readers might question why I'm so quick to jump on board. They might think I'm disgracing the honor of the big "P." But I've got it on higher authority. I know that you're real. You must be, because Nostradamus mentioned you in the big book. Said you would "swiftly rise on the fortnight of your own prophecy." So why aren't you fighting? Why haven't you come forth?
Why have you only revealed yourself through an encrypted message and a token handed to a soon-to-die hero.
Part of me is angry with you, Raven Nation, whoever and wherever you are. Most of me wants to find you and stomp you out for fear that this is some kind of joke. If you mean what you say in your encrypted message then many will think you've come to the party too late.
Cade Foster is dead.
And he is a martyr to our cause. I know you read his journals, you must if you've been to this site. Cade's story has increased readership ten-fold. His words were soaked in tears and pain and unyielding resolve. I've got calluses on my fingertips answering his mail about the fight. Cade really started something here.
See, I believe Foster has followers all over the world. I have to, or else he died in vain.
If you checked Cade's journals recently, you know that I'm going to continue the tradition of writing about these battles in his absence. I'm going to keep Cade's message alive. And if you've been reading you know the awful truth.
You know about the part I took in Cade's death. There will never be words to describe that moment. The sacrifice wasn't easy. I mean, how many of you could go ahead and shoot your best friend? It was the toughest thing I'd ever done in my life. Wish I could say it would be the last thing I was forced to do and didn't want to.
But it was what Cade would have wanted.
We'd lost the Anti-Christ orb. But maybe you know that too. What was your role that day in Michigan, Raven Nation? How did the orb get to that tiny church and how did you know to be there? Coincidence? Not likely. Paranoids know there's no such thing. Maybe it doesn't matter but I have a feeling it does.
This new Gua devil is still out there. Now Cade is gone. The greatest alien hunter that ever lived made the ultimate sacrifice to have his message heard in a venue more some might consider more accessible than this one. Yes, Cade is gone, but I still need help.
This war is all of ours. So I implore you, Raven Nation, contact me here. Be direct. Come forth and we can fight the good fight together.
It's what Cade would have wanted.
It's the only way to protect our world.
I am Eddie Nambulous. Cade Foster's best friend. He was the greatest guy I'll ever know. I believe that right down to my favorite wool, knee-highs. And he would have wanted us to keep going.
Together, we can stop the First Wave.
So whattaya gonna do, Raven Nation? The balls in your court and I'm waiting for an assist.
We really can win this. In the name of Cade Foster.
