PARANOID TIMES SHOCKWAVE! THE RAVEN NATION TALKS BACK!
Hey there, radical paranoidiacs and faithful followers of Foster. As you know, last edition I did something unprecedented in the annals of the "Paranoid Times" pages. In the wake of Foster's sacrifice, and with a bump from Nostradamus himself, I reached out to a mysterious new entity called the Raven Nation. I wanted to know who and what they are and hoped for a confirmation as to why they've just now started showing themselves.
And we've got some of our answers. No specifics. But sounds like they're on our side.
The following is a letter from one of these soldiers it was totally untraceable, even by me. While over in Cade's journal, another open letter is being posted, and truth-be-told my loyal legions, I didn't have anything to do it. I believe it was posted by the "Commander" this Clement-fella refers to in his cyber-communiqué. He warned that she doesn't do anything expected, and from the way she's hacked into my system, it's obvious her way of doing things is all her own.
Bold move, Commander. Both the hacking and posting in Foster's name.
Oh, and did I mention her message is meant for the Gua.
So, in light of the preceding facts, for the first time in forever I'm letting someone else have the floor here.
I'm sure there'll be plenty to talk for all of us to talk about next time I post my own editorial.
Read on my friends. For all I know some of my own readers may even be Raven Nation. One never knows on the web. Either way, it's clear that Foster's message speaks out well beyond the grave.
Thanks for your letter Clement. Foster would be proud.
And in the future, both you and your leader can be less covert. You're gonna have to be, cause until you guys can share some more facts, you won't be welcome on my site.
And you're not gonna get past me again.
Tell that to your commander.
Foster's message started here. I'll implore you once more Ð step up and show yourselves. Recent history happened because it had to. If Cade Foster trusted me so can you.
Paranoid or not, sounds like we're all on the same side.
-- Forever Foster's Partner, Crazy Edwardo Nambulous
To Eddie Nambulous:
(Publisher of the Paranoid Times / Ally of Cade Foster ?) :
We've always been keeping up with you Eddie. Though lately not as often as we'd like. With the coming war there just isn't any time. My name is Clement. Soldier of Raven Nation Ð Cade Foster's army. We will show ourselves when we are ready, and not a second sooner. We're gonna kick the Gua's ass, and that's something I'm sure of.
But we don't know what to make of you Eddie. What you say you did, well, I'm not sure it's right. I don't even have a clue why you did it. If the Gua were about to take out Mr. Foster, then I can't help thinking there wasn't another way to get him out of that studio. You must have thought there wasn't another choice. And if there was, then God help you Nambulous, cause you're gonna have the Raven Nation raining down on you hard.
I want to believe the best. Your words here, and Mr. Foster's, they've inspired me. I am a warrior of the Raven Nation. We're grieving the loss of Cade Foster. He was a hero, and though none of us ever met him, we considered him our friend. I'm responding to your letter because I want you to know that we all wish we could have been there. We would have seen to it that Mr. Foster survived.
And also to say that he's the reason any of us even know to fight. If Foster hadn't survived, if he hadn't fought back, so many others would have suffered and none of us would ever know why. So we can't let him down. Not as long as even one of us who knows the Gua are here continues to breathe.
Our leader won't respond to your letter. That's just not her style. She takes control, doesn't follow anyone else's lead. She's pretty pissed Mr. Foster's gone at all. But I can respond. Maybe just because Cade meant so much to me, to her, to us all. Maybe just to say we're gonna make Mr. Foster proud.
Cause we know that no soldier whose cause is just dies in vain. He only dies in honor. And we honor Mr. Cade Foster.
I learned a lot about leadership from the Commander, and about our cause right here in your webzine, and of course from people like Mr. Foster. So as long as those people exist, like Cade and our Commander, a woman who brought us all together and keeps us safe and believes in this fight É well then we've still got a good chance to win this thing.
And none of us are afraid to die trying.
