3.16 THE VESSEL By Eddie Nambulous It's a blow to Team Foster unlike any we've ever had before! Mabus has one of our own. And I don't mean just any soldier in the war against the Gua — I'm talking a leader. Jordan has Mabus! Or Mabus is Jordan! And Jordan is him! Ain't no way to say it plain — the evil Alien Anti-Christ has possessed my friend, Foster's partner. The Gua have come after us in a huge way — usually they're just trying to take away our God-given planet but this time they were gunning for our heart. I don't know how we could've let it happen. Foster blames himself and I feel like an idiot cause at the end of the day — the signs were there. The Gua have been mucking around in Lady J's family almost as long as they've been messing with Foster's. It started years ago when they first tried to co-opt Jordan's dad and use his multi-billion dollar company as a platform to launch the Second Wave. Radcliffe had everything, shipping lines, communication companies, land, technology — we wouldn't have stood a chance if they got a hold of Jordan's legacy. Then they went after her brother. Used him to eradicate the Radcliffes with the human will experiment that almost took Foster's life and began his quest to send them back to their part of the universe and avenge his loved ones. Good thing is we had another fighter on our side even then — Daniel Radcliffe. Because of Daniel's love for his sister the aliens failed again — and they created another totally driven enemy who would help kick their collective asses from one end of this planet to the other and back into space too. Jordan found Foster's journals. She figured out what was happening to her brother. And she got angry. That's when she created the Raven Nation — a militia inspired by Foster's journals and Daniel Radcliffe's sacrifice — an army hell bent on killing the Gua. We hooked up with our fire-maned diva when Foster was "dead" to the world, a hoax we figured was necessary to take some of the heat Foster's alien-engineered fugitive status had created and give us more room to fight the Gua. Since then we've had plenty of successes we owe to Jordan. She and her group have been with us all the way. And let me tell you, the fight was a heckuva a lot easier for it. And it's about to get a lot harder. Recently Mabus tried to lead our girl into his clutches using a kid a lot like Jordan. Mabus tried to seduce Jordan into joining the Gua — or so we thought. Turns out he wanted more than her company, more than her legacy, more than her money, wealth and contacts. Mabus wanted Jordan's body — literally. And now he has her. Mabus isn't your average alien — he's the Uber Gua. And though we don't know how — he seems to be able to transfer his consciousness into human bodies without the aid of an alien "Gieigger-tamp" apparatus. Today, he helped himself to Jordan's body. Worse part is, we don't know if she's still in there. Foster was at the scene of the heinous crime — Mabus taunted him, manipulated Cade telling him that Jordan was still inside her body just smothered by his power. Mabus could hear her screams, her thoughts. He implied that Jordan loved Cade most of all. It wouldn't have mattered. I've suspected as much for a while now. And I'm betting the feeling's mutual, not that Cade would talk about that kind of stuff. Not that it would matter. ŚCuase no way was Foster going to hurt Jordan — not even with Mabus borrowing her body. Foster couldn't hurt one of his own, even though it's what Jordan would've wanted. If it meant the destruction of Mabus she'd gladly give up her life. We'd been down this road before — it's a fear we live with day by day. Foster, Jordan and I — we've become important to the fight though none of us likes to admit it. We keep you all connected and informed. And because of your determination and dedication you've organized into a force that could well give the Gua a run for their money. Jordan was asked to kill Cade for our own good once before — so was I. And we'd always hoped none of us would ever be in this place again. The last time it happened Cade was literally becoming Gua. An overzealous Raven Nation Doc had decided he'd turn Foster into a Gua to give us the edge the Doc believed we needed to win this war. It was one of the first time I wondered about Jordan and Cade. But I remember something else from that night — something I didn't even tell Cade. Jordan was terrified for Foster — talked about him being trapped inside a Gua body — said she couldn't imagine a more terrifying nightmare. And now she's living it. Foster and I believe we can get Jordan back. It may require one hell of an exorcism, but it's gonna happen. It's gotta happen. Three years ago the Gua stole Foster's life, it's what launched him on this journey into hell. Today they stole our hope — our hope that our lives could be more than an endless war against impossible odds. The truth is, we all need the hope of a future. The truth is we need Jordan.
