The popular genre of private investigation takes a supernatural turn in Haunted, where crimes are solved with help from an inexplicable link between this world and the hereafter.

Frank Taylor is haunted, both literally and figuratively. Four years ago, he was a career police detective. He had a great partner, Marcus Bradshaw, and a happy family life with his wife, Jessica, and their son. But all that fell apart when Frank and Jessica's child was kidnapped and never found.

Frank, now legally but not emotionally divorced from Jessica, is working as a private eye when he finds his life transformed after a near-death experience results in his being haunted by lost souls from beyond the grave who help him in solving a variety of cases. Not all of the spirits are helpful, though: Frank is also haunted by Simon, the villainous ghost of a vicious killer.

As Frank reluctantly accepts his heightened awareness, he evolves from an incredulous non-believer into an intrigued witness to the beyond.


Haunted stars Matthew Fox (Party of Five) as Frank Taylor, Russell Hornsby (Gideon's Crossing) as Marcus Bradshaw, Lynn Collins as Jessica and John F. Mann (lead singer of the Canadian pop folk band Spirit of the West) as Simon.

Haunted is an Industry Entertainment Production, in association with Viacom Productions and CBS Productions. The executive producers are Emile Levisetti & Keith Addis (The Education of Max Bickford) and Scott Shepherd (The Outer Limits, Quantum Leap). Rick Ramage (Stigmata) serves as the co-executive producer. The supervising producer is Andrew Cosby (Eureka). Haunted was created by Ramage and Cosby.
