Ewen Bremner plays Harold Stritzke, an awkward, nervous man who possesses a powerful object, the Comb. The Comb stops time for about 10 seconds. Harold uses it to commit petty crimes until he is persuaded to help find Det. Joe Miller's missing daughter, Anna.
A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Bremner began his career in the theater, building an impressive roster of credits in Scotland and London before making his UK television debut in the drama Heavenly Pursuits.
He then landed roles in numerous film projects, including Prince of Jutland and Judge Dredd, before receiving international recognition as the memorable Spud in the critically-acclaimed film Trainspotting.
Bremner's wide range of credits also includes his portrayal of the legendary Salvador Dali for the BBC's Surrealismo: The Trial of Salvador Dali; Snatch; Pearl Harbor; Black Hawk Down; Match Point; and HBO's recent Emmy Award-winning miniseries Elizabeth I, starring Helen Mirren.
He will next be seen in the film Death at a Funeral, directed by Frank Oz.
