Elle Fanning plays 8-year-old Anna Miller, Joe Miller's only child. Joe is engaged in a bitter custody battle to keep his daughter when she vanishes completely in the motel room.

Energetic, lively and bright are just a few words that describe 8-year-old Elle Fanning. Recently, she starred as Sweetie Pie Thomas in Because of Winn-Dixie, with Cicely Tyson and Dave Matthews. She also recently completed shooting the new feature film Babel, starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.

Her other credits include the Focus Films feature Door in the Floor from director Tod Williams, Tony Scott's Déjà Vu and director John August's The Nines.

Fanning made her feature-film debut co-starring as Lucy in New Line Cinema's I Am Sam. She then went on to co-star opposite Eddie Murphy in the family comedy Daddy Day Care for Revolution Studios.

In addition to her film credits, Fanning has also made numerous TV appearances. She has been seen on CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, House, Judging Amy and SCI FI Channel's Steven Spielberg Presents Taken.
