In addition to starring as Carl Kolchak on Night Stalker, the gifted Stuart Townsend recently starred in the romantic comedy The Best Man opposite Seth Green and Amy Smart. Townsend also recently starred in Sony Pictures' Head in the Clouds opposite Charlize Theron and Penélope Cruz, and in 20th Century Fox's The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Sean Connery.

Townsend's other film credits include Queen of the Damned, Shooting Fish, Simon Magus, Wonderland, Trojan Eddie and About Adam.

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Townsend divides his time between Europe and the United States.
