THE SPECIAL ONE Directed by Gerd Oswald Written by Oliver Crawford Roy Benjamin's son, Kenny, is a bright young boy who has been enrolled in the government Enrichment Program for unusually talented children. Mr. Zeno, who introduces himself as a member of the program, comes to the house to tutor Kenny in special assignments. But Zeno is from an alien planet and is training Kenny to assist in changing the Earth's climate, in preparation for an invasion by Zeno's people. NOTE: Marion Ross would star as Mrs. Cunningham in the hit sitcom Happy Days. Edward Platt, who also appeared in The Outer Limits episode "The Man with the Power," would become Maxwell Smart's Chief in the classic Mel Brooks-Buck Henry sitcom Get Smart.
