A.M. Dellamonica had the kind of action-packed childhood that most people dream of, featuring actual plane crashes and the occasional long car trip. A resident of Vancouver, British Columbia, she is a student of ki aikido, a member of the Vancouver Lesbian and Gay Choir, and an avid gardener. Her next anthology appearances will be in The Faery Reel and Alternate Generals III; a story, "Origin of Species," is available now in The Many Faces of Van Helsing. Three other works can be found anytime at SCIFI.COM, and her 2002 Asimov's piece, "A Slow Day at the Gallery," is out in The Year's Best SF #8. She writes book and site reviews for SF Weekly and maintains a web site at www.sff.net/people/alyx.

A member of the Fangs of God writers' workshop, she is currently at work on a novel called Indigo Springs.
