Author Biography and Bibliography

Susan Palwick is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she teaches writing and literature. Her first novel, Flying in Place (1992), won the Crawford Award for Best First Fantasy Novel, presented annually by the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts. The Japanese translation was published in 1997 by Chikuma Shobo. Her second novel, The Necessary Beggar, will be published in 2005, with a third novel, Shelter, following in 2006.
