The clans

n Kindred: The Embraced, five clans of vampires coexist in modern-day San Francisco, but things are rarely peaceful. Each clan has its own agenda, and it's up to the Prince to keep them from tearing each other's throats out. The relationships between the clans can get pretty confusing, especially for viewers tuning in for the first time. To help sort things out, we've included a list of the clans and their leaders below:

Torreadors

The Torreadors are artists and lovers of creativity. Lillie (Julian's on again, off again lover) leads the clan.

Ventrue

The Ventrue are the blue bloods of the Kindred. It's run by Julian, who is also the Prince of the Kindred.

Nosferatu

The oldest clan, the Nosferatu, are subterranean and savage. They are lead by Daedalus Nosferatu, who is Julian's enforcer.

Gangrels

The Gangrels are fiercely independent hot heads, whose ranks are made up mostly of bikers and rockers. This clan is lead by Cash, who is Julian's bodyguard.

Brujah

The Brujah are the true mobsters who break both human and Kindred laws.
