"Deep Throat" and Other Episodes

n Deep Throat, the companion episode to Pilot, Scully and Mulder investigate the complaint of a woman who says the military has kidnapped her husband, an airforce test pilot, after he has a psychotic episode. In this episode, Mulder meets the mysterious Deep Throat for the first time, who warns him to leave the case alone, and cryptically informs him that there is other, better work for him to do.

Conduit/Ice

Conduit - A teenaged girl disappears on a camping trip, but no one seems perturbed except the girl's mother. Mulder suspects alien abduction, but feels that the girl's brother is the key.

Ice - The agents travel to a remote Arctic science station to investigate the mysterious deaths of five researchers there. The clue may be hidden in core samples of ice more than 200,000 years old. Before the truth is uncovered, fear and paranoia divide Scully and Mulder, and the partners face each other down the barrels of their guns.

Fallen Angel/Eve

Fallen Angel - Something has fallen to earth in a fiery crash, and the race is on between Mulder and Scully and a secret UFO retrieval team to locate the remains. Mulder clashes head-on with powerful government forces and his career is on the line. Another appearance by the enigmatic Deep Throat.

Eve - A murder victim is drained of blood and the only witness is the victim's small daughter. The particulars of this cause Mulder to draw a connection to cattle mutilations. Meanwhile, a similar murder occurs on the other side of the country, and again the only witness is a young girl, who appears to be the twin of the first.
