Science Fiction Weekly
teams up with the Sci-Fi Channel

Science Fiction Weekly has joined the Sci-Fi Channel's online community, The Dominion. Beginning with the April 8 issue, Science Fiction Weekly will be found exclusively on The Dominion's Web site through a link on the "Pulp" page.

"It's a great move for us because it will expose Science Fiction Weekly to a larger readership while allowing us to expand our publication," said Craig E. Engler, the editor and publisher of Science Fiction Weekly. "We've been fans of The Dominion since its creation, and we're pleased to be able to team up with them in a joint venture."

"This is another example of our continuing efforts to be the source for science fiction on the Internet," said Ellen Kaye, vice president/enterprises of USA Networks. "Science Fiction Weekly is full of interesting news and entertainment and should be well-received by our Dominion fans."

There will be no change in the current staff or coverage of Science Fiction Weekly, although a number of minor cosmetic additions are in the works. Additionally, the department Story By has been replaced with a Gallery of cover art that readers have long been requesting. Story By will return later this year.

Readers of Science Fiction Weekly may experience some temporary difficulties reaching the publication due to a rerouting of the URL http://www.scifiweekly.com. The URL changeover is expected to be completed by mid-week.
