The Wheel of Time turns, and ages come and pass, but it doesn't take nearly that long for readers to start forgetting details from the epic series. Seven Spokes helps combat that forgetfulness by chronicling the events of every book in the Robert Jordan fantasy series.

The site's Chronology presents a history of the fictional universe, starting with Creation and then rapidly moving through the mythical First and Second Ages. Once the Chronology reaches the Third Age, the pace slows down as it moves through each book in the series on a month-by-month (and occasionally day-by-day) basis. In addition to book and page references, the timeline is further illuminated by quotes from Robert Jordan that clarify when or how something happened.

The Calendar section of the site tracks the Wheel of Time's 13 months and lunar cycle and denotes when the various known holidays occur. It's a little sparse, most likely because of Jordan's tendency not to assign specific dates to events. The Characters section offers short summaries of hundreds of individuals from the series, while the books area lists all of the various editions that have been published.

Seven Spokes' political maps, which show the lay of the land from three important eras since the cataclysmic "Breaking of the World," are excellent for understanding how Jordan's geography fits his stories. Finally, the Author section provides a biography supplemented by links to transcripts of online chats, interviews and articles.
