Richard E. Gant portrays Captain Richard Page, the take-no-prisoners commanding officer of Special Unit 2.

A veteran actor of film and television, Gant is recognized in Hollywood for his extraordinary acting talent as well as his penchant for choosing odd yet challenging roles. Among his numerous feature-film credits are turns in The Nutty Professor 2, with Eddie Murphy; City Hall, with Al Pacino; Rocky V, with Sylvester Stallone; and The Big Lebowski, which was directed by Joel Coen and starred Jeff Bridges.

Gant also is no stranger to television. He has made guest appearances on such series as Moesha, The Drew Carey Show, Family Law, For Your Love, Friends and ER, and he had a recurring role as Bill Dornan on NYPD Blue. In addition, Gant performed on Broadway at the Ambassador Theater in The Mighty Gents.
