Alexondra Lee plays Officer Kate Benson, a Special Unit 2 detective who is as intuitive as she is attractive.

The multitalented Lee has been appearing on television since childhood. One of her first roles came in 1987 when she was cast as young Melissa on the Emmy Award-winning drama, thirtysomething.

Early in her career, Lee earned two coveted series-regular roles, on Party of Five and George & Leo. In addition, she has been a popular choice for guest-starring roles and has made appearances on Sisters, L.A. Law, Providence, Jenny, Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane, Secret Agent Man and Grapevine. She also scored a recurring role on Boston Public as Tina, the school cheerleading coach, who immediately makes a name for herself by getting the girls to do a rather risqué performance in order to win a cheerleading contest. Lee played the recurring character of Lisa Fenn on the Emmy Award-winning series Picket Fences.

Lee also appeared in the ABC made-for-television film Kiss My Act, produced by and starring Camryn Manheim. She also played supporting roles in the feature films What Women Want, starring Mel Gibson, What I Did for Love, My Teacher's Wife and The Road Killers.
