Synopsis:
Argelius II is normally a fun-loving shore leave planet for visiting
ships, but murder is the charge when Scotty is found hovering over the corpse of a dancer, a dagger in his hand. Hengist, the offworld administrator hired by the hedonistic Argelians to attend to their mundane business, is adamant that Scott be put to death according to the culture's little-used but still extant crime statutes. Kirk argues for a full investigation, and investigation that yields two more victims -- both found near Mr. Scott.
