Dohlman of Elas balks and fights every inch of the way to her planned
"peace bride" wedding with the leader of a rival world, Troyius. When
the spoiled princess stabs the ambassador sent to teach her the ways of
his people, Kirk steps him to teach her himself. Instead, he finds
himself falling under her spell thanks to the folk myth of an Elasian
woman's tears, which are said to cast a virtual love spell on the male
involved. The melodrama suddenly turns to a life-and-death issue when
Klingons are found to have an interest in her party -- and the
