Synopsis: Betraying its status as a Federation member, Ardana seems anything but an enlightened member when the Enterprisecomes calling for a precious medicine source, zenite. The shipment is hijacked by Troglyte "disruptors," rebels who reject their people's second-class status as servants and miners while the dominant Ardanans live the life of scholars and artists on Stratos City in the clouds. Efforts to end the dispute and get the zenite go nowhere -- until the captain dives in and makes his most radical personal contact yet.
