JAMIE LUNER
Los Angeles native Jamie Luner, born May 12, 1971, started her acting career at age four, and years later, after winning a local Shakespeare competition, decided to pursue it professionally. In 1987, while attending the famed Beverly Hills High School, she made a guest appearance as the character Sheena Berkowitz on the sitcom Growing Pains, which led to a recurring role as boy-crazy Cindy Lubbock a character she continued to play in the successful spin-off series Just the Ten of Us.
Luner's scene-stealing portrayal of Peyton Richards on the Aaron Spelling series Savannah distinguished her and made her a sought-after addition to the sexy community of Spelling's Melrose Place. There she spent two years as the conniving Lexi Sterling before succeeding Ally Walker as the heroine of the FBI forensic-science series Profiler. Luner played prosecutor-turned-special-agent Rachel Burke, reprising that role in a special February 2000 crossover episode of the humanistic SF hit The Pretender.
In addition to filming a cameo role as a model in the feature film Friends and Lovers with Robert Downey Jr. and Stephen Baldwin, Luner also recently premiered in the HBO movie Sacrifice, opposite Michael Madsen. Other films include Tryst, The St. Tammany Miracle and the 2002 video release Warrior. Demonstrating her wide range, the lovely Luner has guested on such sitcoms as The Drew Carey Show and That's Life (in which she played the recurring role of Samantha Richardson) and on such dramas as C.S.I.: Miami and the SCI FI Original "Mindreacher" episode of The Outer Limits.
