In the years since Wolf Lake, Mary Elizabeth Winstead has become one of Hollywood's hottest young up-and-coming actresses.

Her early work included guest-starring roles on such television series as Touched by an Angel, Promised Land, Passions and Tru Calling. She has since graduated to feature films. Her big-screen roles have spanned such projects as Monster Island, The Ring Two, Final Destination 3, Black Christmas, Death Proof (director Quentin Tarantino's segment of the cinematic double-feature Grindhouse) and the new summer action extravaganza with Bruce Willis, Live Free or Die Hard.

Before becoming an actress, Winstead was an accomplished ballet dancer who was accepted into the Joffrey Ballet pre-professional dance program in New York City. She has extensive training in tap, jazz and classical voice performance. Winstead is a former member of the International Children's Choir and has performed with Donnie Osmond in the Broadway production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
