Bboard Doanloads Episodes Cast An X-Files Primer

REDUX (Entry two of three)
We put target Scully's truthfulness about Mulder's whereabouts under intense scrutiny, while suspicion arises that someone at the FBI might have been responsible for Scully's terminal-prognosis cancer.

REDUX II (Entry three of three)
With Scully lingering near death and the future of the X-Files in danger, our operative C.G.B. Spender a.k.a. Cigarette-Smoking Man comes forward with an offer to save Scully's life — if Mulder is willing to accept the terms of CSM's quid pro quo.

UNUSUAL SUSPECTS
Backgrounder file: In 1989, the troublesome trio of electronics experts who will later call themselves the Lone Gunmen help a young Fox Mulder on a case that might have initiated Mulder's awareness of our Syndicate's project and our conspiracy against extraterrestrial infiltration.

DETOUR
Mulder and Scully find themselves stranded in a deep Florida forest without food or shelter, and stalked by a bizarre predator with the ability to perfectly camouflage itself.

CHRISTMAS CAROL
While home for the holidays, Scully is drawn into an investigation of a strange suicide, only to discover a young girl whom Scully initially believes to be the daughter of Scully's late sister Melissa.

THE POST-MODERN PROMETHEUS
Based on what our analysts believe might be planted disinformation from Mulder, who doubtlessly has been aware of our surveillance, we have reconstructed a case involving, for lack of better terms, a mad scientist, a modern-day Frankenstein's monster and a group outing to a performance by the popular singer Cher or, possibly, a Cher impersonator. (See entry "Cher," in cross-referenced NSA Executive Action file for the late U.S. congressman Rep. Sonny Bono [R-Calif.].)

EMILY
As Scully fights for custody of Emily, her newly discovered daughter, Mulder deduces the young girl might be the product of an experiment that could lead to the child suffering a highly premature death.

KITSUNEGARI
When captured adversary Robert Modell a.k.a. Pusher (see file "Pusher") forces his telepathic will on others in order to escape prison, Mulder and Scully race to catch him before he can, they presume, take revenge against Mulder.

SCHIZOGENY
Bizarre deaths in a small orchard community lead Mulder and Scully to uncover secrets of abuse within the town, as well as what appears to be some form of sentient natural organism.

CHINGA
While on vacation in Maine, Scully encounters a case where the victims appear to have inflicted wounds upon themselves at the behest of a strange young girl.

KILL SWITCH
Mulder and Scully investigate the death of an Internet co-creator only to become targets of a computer-embedded human consciousness capable of extreme acts of torture.

BAD BLOOD
In this unusual reconstruction, our analytical team is divided over whether Mulder or Scully is more accurately recounting the events leading to a seemingly fatal error while investigating bizarre murders in Texas. Using as our model director Akira Kurosawa's famed movie Rashomon, we present differing versions for independent judgment.

PATIENT X (Entry one of two)
A series of mass killings by rebel alien shapeshifters opposed to colonization leads Mulder (who now briefly believes no Syndicate conspiracy exists) to seek further evidence of extraterrestrial life. Scully encounters abductee Cassandra Spender and her son, FBI Special Agent Jeffrey Spender — the latter planted as part of what we later learned to be a fail-safe operation by his father, our covert operative C.G.B. Spender a.k.a. Cigarette-Smoking Man, whom we erroneously believed had been terminated.

THE RED AND THE BLACK (Entry two of two)
Attempting to uncover and negate a threat to Scully, Mulder is drawn into a dangerous confrontation with the rebel alien shapeshifters opposed to colonization. Our rogue former operative Alex Krycek supplies Mulder with detailed information regarding same.

TRAVELERS
A murder leads Mulder to question former FBI Special Agent Arthur Dales, who in 1952 investigated one of the first X-Files — a case that ultimately involved Mulder's father.

MIND'S EYE
Mulder and Scully investigate a murder that seems to have been committed by a blind woman — but Mulder suspects that there is more to the case than meets the eye.

ALL SOULS
The mysterious death of a mentally retarded 16-year-old girl prompts a priest to ask Scully for help, but her investigation leads her to a mystery of a nature apparently involving otherdimensional beings associated with religious iconography, i.e., "demons" and "angels."

THE PINE BLUFF VARIANT
While investigating a dangerous group of anti-government terrorists, Scully begins to grow suspicious of Mulder, whose increasingly strange behavior suggests he might be pursuing a reckless hidden agenda.

FOLIE À DEUX
Mulder and Scully encounter a delusional man who believes his boss might be a monster (unwitting colloquialism for a spontaneous genetic mutation or other anomalous being) and though Mulder begins to believe the man is telling the truth, Scully fears that her partner might be succumbing to the same delusions.

THE END (Entry one of two)
In a problematically unanticipated and uncontrolled development, Gibson Praise — a telepathic young chess prodigy with alien-related DNA — initiates a chain of events that could unequivocally provide Mulder and Scully with hard evidence of extraterrestrial life.
